Genevieve's Fair Trade Village (GFTV) works closely with local community organisations that offer support for people living with disabilities and other social enterprises and ethical organisations that support the growth and education of the local people in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Artisans Association of Cambodia
The Artisans Association of Cambodia (AAC) is a fair trade organization that supports over 50 handicraft groups across Cambodia who are often working with some of the nations most vulnerable people. As a member of the Artisans Association GFTV adheres to the 10 principles of fair trade identified by the WFTO.
Disabilities Network of Siem Reap
The Disabilities Network of Siem Reap is an informal group of organisations that work with and for people with disabilities. The group meets once a month to discuss common issues.
GFTV has a working relationship with a number of organisations that provide support for people with disabilities.
Artisans Tour Siem Reap
Genevieve's Fair Trade Village is a member of the Artisans Tour, a collaborative project developed by a group of ethical artisan organisations. The aim of the tour is to promote awareness of the bustling Cambodian handicraft market that provides fair jobs for thousands of people in Siem Reap Province. The tour has no "set itinerary" as you create your own tour by selecting who you want to visit and how you want to travel. See eBrochure below for details.
