We are sensitive to the fact that in these times money is tight, but even a small amount will go a long way in making a difference to these families lives.
We think us$10,000 (approx. au$15,000) will see us through and as a global community we can achieve this goal. We only need 1,000 people from across the entire world to donate as little as us$10 (au$15) to succeed.
The cost of a Family Care Pack that will feed a family of 4 for 1 month is approx. au$40 (us25). More info...
How you can donate...
How GFM donations will be processed...
The GoFundMe (GFM) site was created by Jenni Parker, a GFTV volunteer living in Perth, Western Australia because GoFundMe does not operate in Cambodia. Compared to other crowdfunding sites the fees charges are quite low.
Funds raised through this campaign site are automatically transferred into an Australian Bank account and then transferred into GFTV's ABA bank account in Cambodia. To ensure GFTV has a continuous cash flow to purchase food & other essential items throughout the coming months' monies will be transferred to GFTV's account on a regular basis as funds become available.
Jenni & her partner Mark have pledged to donate the cost of all associated fees (GoFundMe transaction fee 2.2% + 0.30c per transaction + Australian bank fee au$20 + ABA bank inward SWIFT fee us$10 per transaction). Therefore, 100% of your donation will go directly to GFTV to support families living with disabilities in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
GFTV accounting is up-to-date and open to inspection. We will post a monthly financial report for all our fundraising initiatives on this website.
